Ok, hi everyone. Here is the topic I'd like to bring up. What do you think of asking for our last three classes in the summer? We'd still be officially graduating in January but wouldn't have to take them during the fall. Honestly, I don't think they will let us...but if we all agree and really really want it...ya never know!
Photography Final
- Still life – either product OR food
- Fashion – either fashion (about clothes) OR beauty (about makeup)

One Process – Gum Bichromate, making exposure with sunlight. Process it in water.

- matt must be cut and put over photo so it doesn’t touch the glass.

- for copyright protection and so you get paid.
- It specifies who owns the photo (usually the photographer does)
- agencies wont pay without contracts, and they take 90 days to pay you.
- Photographer has a rep who takes 15-25% and they handle this stuff.
- client pays for your meals, an assistant, studio, equipment, and your fee.
Usage – how they’ll use the photo. Ex: billboard, subway ad, bus stop ads, magazine spread… each pay different amounts.
How long – specifies how long they can use photo. Client can decide to do a buyout – they can use it forever, for whatever they want (starts at about $30,000)
