A: Daguerrer – his process was degaurerrotype
Drawback-exposure took very long, & it couldn’t be duplicated
4- who invented another process the same time as Dagerrer?
A: Henry Fox Talbot – he made a negative that could be reproduced
5- who revolutionized photography?
A: Goerge Eastman – Kodak company. He mass produced cheap box cameras, and made roll films for amateurs
6- Apature – in front of lens and controls light and focus
7- Shutter – controls Motion, its behind the lens and in front of the film/chip
8- ISO/film speed – low ISO = for bright days
High speed/high # = dark, disadvantage it adds grain / noise to image
9- Resolution = dots per inch (dpi)

Print - 300dpi
10- 2 main types of light – Natural & Artificial
Natural – side lighting, diffused, backlighting
-best to shoot in the morn and eve NOT noon
Artificial – on camera flash, off camera flash, ambient light
11- Fine Arts – Art made purely for the reason of aesthetic expression
12- First movements in photography – Pictorialism = copied painting’s style
